Advanced Filter Landing Pages
Generate SEO-optimized filter landing pages in Shopware 6 with unique meta titles, descriptions, and keyword-based URLs — automated for hundreds of pages.
The description shows what such a plugin can do. We tailor the scope to your shop after a short needs analysis and usually deliver within a few days.
In short
- Capture long-tail search traffic by giving every filter combination its own indexed, keyword-rich landing page
- Eliminate UUID-based URLs entirely — replace them with readable slugs that improve click-through rates in search results
- Scale to hundreds of filter pages without any manual product assignment or per-page configuration
Why this extension
Without the plugin
Running a large Shopware 6 store means competing for long-tail search traffic across dozens or even hundreds of product filter combinations. Out of the box, Shopware generates category filter URLs with UUID strings that are meaningless to search engines and users alike. Each unique filter combination — whether by material, size, brand, or any custom attribute — deserves its own crawlable, keyword-rich landing page. Without that, you are leaving a significant portion of your organic search potential untapped.
With the plugin
The Advanced Filter Landing Pages extension solves this at scale. It automatically generates independent landing pages for every filter combination within a category, each with its own SEO title, meta description, and human-readable URL slug built from your chosen keywords. Products are pulled directly from the parent category, so there is no need to assign them manually. An integrated administration panel lets you manage SEO settings across hundreds of pages in bulk — turning what would be weeks of manual work into a one-time configuration task.
How it would work
- Define Your Filter Dimensions
In the plugin settings, select which filter attributes should generate landing pages — this can include standard Shopware properties, CustomFields you have defined for your product catalog, or SearchKeywords. You configure which combinations are meaningful for your SEO strategy and which should be excluded to avoid thin-content pages.
- Generate and Configure Landing Pages
The plugin automatically creates a landing page for each qualifying filter combination within your chosen categories. Products from the parent category are assigned to each page without any manual API calls or database work. Through the bulk administration panel, you can set or override the SEO title, meta description, and URL slug for every page — individually or in batch using templates with dynamic placeholders such as filter name and category name.
- Serve Clean URLs in the Storefront
The integrated Storefront Controller override intercepts filter requests and maps them to the corresponding keyword-based slug. Visitors and search engine crawlers receive readable, descriptive URLs instead of UUID query strings. Canonical tags are applied automatically to handle edge cases where multiple URL patterns could reference the same filter state.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a ready plugin I can buy?
No – it is a concept. We build it for your shop after a short needs analysis. Prices start at €100 and you get a fixed quote before we start.
Can this plugin handle hundreds of filter landing pages without performance issues?
Yes. The plugin is architected for scale. Page generation, URL routing, and SEO metadata retrieval are all handled efficiently through Shopware's native data layer, and the bulk administration panel is designed specifically to manage large numbers of pages without requiring individual edits.
Do I need to assign products to each filter landing page manually?
No. Products are automatically inherited from the parent category for each filter landing page. The plugin uses the category's existing product catalog as its source, so there is no need to assign products via API calls or manual configuration — even for hundreds of pages.
Can I filter by CustomFields or SearchKeywords, not just standard properties?
Yes. The plugin supports filtering by standard Shopware 6 properties, CustomFields you have defined for your product entities, and SearchKeywords. This gives you full flexibility to build landing pages around the attributes most relevant to your SEO strategy.
Will this plugin conflict with my existing SEO URL or sitemap setup?
The plugin is designed to integrate with Shopware 6's native SEO URL system and is compatible with standard sitemap generation. Canonical URL handling is included to prevent duplicate content issues. If you have a heavily customized Storefront or a third-party SEO extension, our team can advise on any integration considerations during onboarding.
Which Shopware versions are supported?
We build it for the version your shop runs: 6.5, 6.6 or 6.7. Updates for new Shopware versions are included as long as we stay in active contact.
How long does it take?
Usually 5–10 business days after the needs analysis, depending on the agreed scope.
