How it would work
- Install and Configure
Install the plugin through your Shopware 6 administration panel or via Composer. In the plugin settings, define your preferred alt text template using available placeholders such as {{product.name}}, {{product.productNumber}}, or {{category.name}}. Each placeholder resolves automatically in the correct language for the active storefront locale.

No. The plugin follows a strict non-destructive approach. Any alt text already entered in the media entity is always used as-is. The automatic generation only applies when the alt text field is empty.
How does multilingual alt text generation work?
The plugin resolves template placeholders using the translated product data already stored in your Shopware 6 database. For each language version of your store, it fetches the product name (and other fields) in that language and generates the alt text accordingly — no additional translation service or external API is required.
Does this plugin affect performance?
