B2B Company Signup Manager
Add custom B2B registration forms with admin-controlled approval workflows to Shopware 6. Automatically assign approved companies to dedicated customer groups.
The description shows what such a plugin can do. We tailor the scope to your shop after a short needs analysis and usually deliver within a few days.
In short
- Eliminate manual vetting by centralising B2B registration approvals in a single admin panel
- Protect B2B pricing and catalogue access by ensuring only verified companies reach restricted customer groups
- Reduce onboarding time with automated customer group assignment immediately after approval
Why this extension
Without the plugin
Managing B2B customer onboarding in Shopware 6 presents a unique challenge: standard registration flows are designed for individual consumers, not for company accounts that require vetting, approval, and assignment to specific pricing or access tiers. Without a structured process, administrators are left manually sorting registrations, chasing verification steps, and reassigning customers after the fact — a workflow that breaks down quickly as order volumes grow.
With the plugin
The B2B Company Signup Manager plugin adds a purpose-built registration and approval layer directly to your Shopware 6 store. Company customers register through a dedicated custom signup form, their application is held for admin review, and once approved they are automatically placed in the correct customer group — complete with any pricing rules, catalogue access, or permissions that group carries. Rejected applicants are gracefully redirected to the default Standard customer group, keeping your store fully functional for every visitor.
How it would work
- Configure Your Signup Form
In the Shopware 6 administration panel, create one or more custom signup forms and link each form to a specific customer group — for example, "Company A Trade Account" or "Wholesale Partners". Set the form URL and define which fields are required for your B2B applicants.
- Company Customers Register
Prospective B2B customers access the dedicated signup form — shared with them directly, linked from a landing page, or embedded in your storefront. After submitting, they receive confirmation that their application is under review and are informed of the customer group they have applied to join.
- Admin Reviews and Decides
Each new registration appears in the approval panel inside Shopware 6 administration. The admin reviews the applicant's details and selects either Approve or Deny. Approving immediately moves the customer into the target B2B customer group. Denying assigns the customer to the default Standard group — they remain an active account and can still shop at standard conditions.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a ready plugin I can buy?
No – it is a concept. We build it for your shop after a short needs analysis. Prices start at €100 and you get a fixed quote before we start.
Can I create multiple signup forms for different customer groups?
Yes. The plugin allows you to create as many custom signup forms as needed, each linked to a distinct Shopware 6 customer group. This makes it straightforward to manage separate onboarding flows for different company tiers, regions, or partner programmes.
What happens to a customer who is denied access to a B2B group?
Denied applicants are automatically assigned to the default Standard customer group. They remain active Shopware 6 accounts and can continue to shop at standard conditions — no data is lost and no manual cleanup is required.
Are applicants notified when their registration is approved or denied?
Yes. The plugin triggers email notifications on both approval and denial, using Shopware 6's native email template system. You can customise the notification content to match your brand voice and communication standards.
Does the plugin require changes to the core Shopware 6 codebase?
No. The B2B Company Signup Manager integrates exclusively through Shopware 6's official plugin architecture and native customer group system. There are no core file modifications, which means updates to Shopware itself will not break the plugin's functionality.
Which Shopware versions are supported?
We build it for the version your shop runs: 6.5, 6.6 or 6.7. Updates for new Shopware versions are included as long as we stay in active contact.
How long does it take?
Usually 5–10 business days after the needs analysis, depending on the agreed scope.
