Select products by category, tag, or manufacturer, define a percentage or fixed-amount discount, and apply it across your entire selection in a single click. The plugin automatically writes the correct list price (the crossed-out "before" price) and the new promotional price to each product, ensuring Shopware 6 renders the strikethrough pricing exactly as customers expect — no discount codes, no workarounds, no manual edits.
How it would work
- Select Your Products
Open the Bulk Promotion Manager in the Shopware 6 admin panel. Use the filter controls to narrow your selection by one or more categories, product tags, or manufacturers. A live count shows how many products match your current filter before you proceed.
- Define the Discount
Choose between a percentage discount (e.g., 20% off) or a fixed-amount reduction (e.g., €10 off). Optionally set a promotion start and end date. The preview screen shows the calculated promotional price and list price for a sample of affected products so you can confirm the output looks correct.
- Apply and Go Live
Confirm the action. The plugin writes the list price and promotional price to every selected product. If you set a schedule, activation and deactivation happen automatically at the configured times. When the promotion ends, original prices are restored from the saved snapshot — no manual cleanup needed.

Do customers need a discount code to benefit from the promotion?
No. The plugin directly updates the list price and promotional price fields on each product. The discounted price is visible to all visitors on the product page and in category listings — no code required.
Will the crossed-out (strikethrough) price display correctly in my storefront?
Yes. The plugin sets both the list price (the "before" reference price) and the active price correctly, which is exactly what Shopware 6 uses to render the strikethrough pricing in standard and custom themes.
What happens to the original prices after the promotion ends?
Before applying any bulk discount, the plugin saves a snapshot of each product's original prices. When the promotion expires — either manually cancelled or automatically at the scheduled end date — original prices are restored in bulk with no manual intervention needed.
Can I apply different discount rates to different categories at the same time?
You can create and schedule multiple promotion rules, each targeting a different category or product filter with its own discount rate. Run each as a separate action within the plugin's interface.
