Conditional Content Manager
Control Shopping Experiences layout visibility by viewport, customer group, or referrer parameter in Shopware 6 — without writing a single line of code.
The description shows what such a plugin can do. We tailor the scope to your shop after a short needs analysis and usually deliver within a few days.
In short
- Eliminate developer dependency for routine content personalization tasks
- Deliver tailored shopping experiences to different customer segments without duplicating entire layouts
- Reduce time-to-publish for segmented campaigns from days to minutes
Why this extension
Without the plugin
Shopware 6’s Shopping Experiences editor is a powerful tool for building store layouts, but it has a significant blind spot: there is no native way to control which content blocks are shown to whom, or how they appear depending on the visitor’s context. Merchants who need to display different banners for mobile users, restrict promotional content to specific customer groups, or personalize layouts based on affiliate and campaign URL parameters are left with no built-in solution. The only alternative is expensive, time-consuming developer intervention every time a content change is needed.
With the plugin
The Conditional Content Manager extension solves this directly inside the Shopware 6 layout editor. Without any programming knowledge, merchants and marketing teams can define visibility rules and per-condition configurations for individual CMS blocks. Whether you need to hide a desktop-only banner on mobile, show an exclusive offer only to B2B customer groups, or surface a dedicated landing experience for visitors arriving from a Google campaign, this plugin puts that control in the hands of the people who need it most.
How it would work
- Select a Block in the Layout Editor
Open any Shopping Experiences layout in the Shopware 6 administration. Click on a CMS block to open its settings panel. A new "Visibility & Conditions" tab is added by this extension alongside the standard configuration options.
- Define Your Conditions
Add one or more conditions to the block. Choose from three condition types: viewport (desktop, tablet, mobile), customer group (select from all configured groups in your store), or URL parameter (specify a key and optional value). Combine conditions using AND or OR logic to cover complex targeting scenarios.
- Configure Per-Condition Variants
For viewport conditions, you can either set a simple show/hide rule or define a fully separate block configuration for that breakpoint — different image, different heading text, different padding. Each variant is managed directly within the familiar block settings interface, with no duplication of the block itself in the layout tree.
- Preview and Publish
Use the condition preview switcher in the editor toolbar to verify how the block renders under each condition before saving. Once satisfied, publish the layout as normal. The plugin handles all condition evaluation at runtime on the storefront, with no impact on page load performance for unconditioned blocks.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a ready plugin I can buy?
No – it is a concept. We build it for your shop after a short needs analysis. Prices start at €100 and you get a fixed quote before we start.
Does this plugin require a developer to install or configure?
Installation is handled by our team and typically takes under 15 minutes. Once installed, all configuration is done through the standard Shopware 6 administration interface — no programming knowledge is required for day-to-day use.
Will conditional blocks affect my storefront's page load speed?
No. Condition evaluation is optimized at the server level and only applies to blocks where conditions have been explicitly configured. Layouts without conditions are rendered identically to standard Shopware 6 CMS pages with no overhead.
Can I use multiple conditions on a single block at the same time?
Yes. You can stack multiple conditions on a single block and define whether all conditions must be met simultaneously (AND logic) or whether any one condition is sufficient (OR logic). This allows precise targeting for complex scenarios such as "mobile visitor AND B2B customer group".
Does this work with custom CMS blocks added by other extensions?
Yes. The conditional layer integrates at the block level within the Shopping Experiences framework, which means it is compatible with any CMS block registered through Shopware 6's standard extension API — whether native or from a third-party plugin.
Which Shopware versions are supported?
We build it for the version your shop runs: 6.5, 6.6 or 6.7. Updates for new Shopware versions are included as long as we stay in active contact.
How long does it take?
Usually 5–10 business days after the needs analysis, depending on the agreed scope.

- Viewport-based visibility rules – independently show or hide any CMS block for desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints
- Per-viewport element configuration – define separate block settings (e.g. image, text, layout properties) for each breakpoint without duplicating the block

- URL parameter conditions – trigger specific content variants based on referrer query parameters such as affiliate IDs, UTM campaign tags, or custom tracking values
- Inline condition editor integrated directly into the Shopping Experiences block panel – no separate configuration screen required
- Multiple conditions per block with AND/OR logic for advanced targeting scenarios
- Full compatibility with all native Shopware 6 CMS block types and custom blocks registered by third-party extensions
