How it would work
- Validate While You Edit
As soon as you open an email template in the Shopware 6 administration, the plugin scans all Twig expressions for variables that do not exist in the expected data context. Invalid references are highlighted inline, so issues are visible before saving.
- Preview with Real Test Data
Use the built-in preview tool to render the full template output using actual order or customer data from your store. This confirms that the rendered HTML matches expectations and that no variables resolve to empty or broken values at runtime.
- Capture and Review Failures
If an email fails to send during a live Flow Builder dispatch, the plugin intercepts the exception and writes a structured error report to the dedicated log panel. Each entry includes the template name, the exact variable that caused the failure, the triggered flow event, and a timestamp. Optionally, the plugin sends an immediate notification to the store administrator.

Does it catch errors in templates provided by Shopware itself?
Yes. The validator checks all templates in the administration, including default templates shipped with Shopware 6. If a Shopware-provided template contains an incorrect variable — such as a misreferenced media property — the plugin will flag it and log any resulting dispatch failure.
