Without the plugin
In Shopware 6, every product detail page displays a standard notice — "Prices incl. VAT plus shipping costs" — regardless of whether the product is actually marked as free shipping in the master data. For merchants selling shipping-free products or bundles, this creates a confusing and potentially misleading customer experience: the page simultaneously advertises free shipping while the legal notice below the price states that shipping costs apply. This contradiction has persisted since Shopware 4 and has never been addressed natively by the platform.

The Free Shipping Label plugin for Shopware 6 solves this problem at the source. It reads the free-shipping flag directly from each product’s master data and dynamically replaces the standard shipping notice with a configurable alternative — such as "Prices incl. VAT, free delivery" — exactly where the original text appears. Exceptions such as international delivery, express shipping, or cash on delivery are handled through configurable rules, so your store remains legally compliant in every scenario without hiding required information entirely.
How it would work
- Install and Activate
Upload the plugin through the Shopware 6 Extension Manager or install it via Composer. Activate the plugin and clear the cache — no additional dependencies or server configuration are required.
- Configure Your Replacement Texts
Navigate to the plugin settings in the Shopware 6 Administration. Enter the replacement text you want to display for free-shipping products (for example, "Prices incl. VAT, free delivery"). Add translations for each active language in your store. Optionally define separate messages for different sales channels.
- Define Exceptions
Use the exception rule configuration to specify delivery types or conditions that should still display the original shipping notice — such as deliveries to countries outside your free-shipping zone, express fulfilment, or cash-on-delivery orders. When an exception is active during a session, the plugin falls back to the standard notice automatically.
