How it would work
- Guest places an order
The customer completes checkout as a guest through the standard Shopware 6 storefront process. No changes are made to the checkout steps themselves.
- Conversion prompt appears on the confirmation page
Immediately after the order is confirmed, the customer sees a clear, unobtrusive invitation to create an account. A single password field is all that is required — all other account data is already present in the order record.
- Account is created instantly
On submission, the guest record is promoted to a full registered customer account. The customer is logged in automatically and all previous order history remains accessible in their new account.
- Admin-initiated conversion (optional)
