Legal Pages Manager
Prevent outdated legal pages in Shopware 6. Centralize T&C and privacy policy editing, detect content conflicts, and maintain compliance with full audit trails.
The description shows what such a plugin can do. We tailor the scope to your shop after a short needs analysis and usually deliver within a few days.
In short
- Eliminate compliance risk caused by outdated or conflicting legal document versions running live in your Shopware 6 store
- Save hours of manual cross-checking by automating content source detection and mismatch alerts
- Give your team a single, authoritative workflow for editing T&Cs, privacy policies, and other legal pages
Why this extension
Without the plugin
In Shopware 6, legal pages such as Terms & Conditions and privacy policies can be edited in two separate places — directly within Categories and through the Experience World Designer. When content is saved in one location, the other is silently bypassed. The result: your storefront may be serving an outdated legal document without any visible warning, exposing your business to serious compliance risk.
With the plugin
The Legal Pages Manager plugin for Shopware 6 resolves this conflict by centralizing all legal content management through a single, controlled source. It disables direct content editing within Categories for designated legal pages, enforces consistent editing via Experience World, and displays a clear real-time indicator showing which content source is currently being served. A built-in audit trail and automatic mismatch detection give agencies and store operators full confidence that published legal content is always the intended version.
How it would work
- Assign Legal Pages
After installation, open the plugin configuration in the Shopware 6 administration panel and select the categories that represent your legal pages — for example, your T&Cs, privacy policy, imprint, and withdrawal policy. These categories are now managed exclusively through the plugin.
- Enforce a Single Editing Source
Once assigned, the plugin disables the free-text content field within the Category editor for those pages. All content changes must be made through the Experience World Designer, eliminating the root cause of the content conflict.
- Monitor and Audit
The administration UI displays a persistent source indicator for each legal page, showing at a glance which version is live. If a content discrepancy is detected between sources — for example, during a migration or after a manual database change — the plugin raises an alert and logs the event in the audit trail, allowing you to resolve it before customers are affected.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a ready plugin I can buy?
No – it is a concept. We build it for your shop after a short needs analysis. Prices start at €100 and you get a fixed quote before we start.
Will the plugin delete or overwrite my existing legal page content?
No. The plugin is fully non-destructive. It restricts editing permissions and monitors content sources, but does not modify, delete, or migrate any existing content. Your current layouts and category data remain intact.
What happens if a content mismatch is already present in my store?
The plugin detects existing mismatches during its initial scan and displays a warning in the administration panel. You can then review which version is currently being served and consolidate your content in Experience World before activating the editing lock.
Can I choose which pages are managed by the plugin?
Yes. The plugin provides a flexible configuration interface where you assign specific categories as legal pages. Only those categories will have Category-level editing disabled and be subject to source monitoring and audit logging.
Is this plugin suitable for agencies managing multiple Shopware stores?
Absolutely. The plugin was designed with agency workflows in mind. It enforces a consistent, documented process for legal content management across all stores, reducing the risk of compliance incidents caused by operational inconsistencies or team turnover.
Which Shopware versions are supported?
We build it for the version your shop runs: 6.5, 6.6 or 6.7. Updates for new Shopware versions are included as long as we stay in active contact.
How long does it take?
Usually 5–10 business days after the needs analysis, depending on the agreed scope.
