Sales Rep Cart Sharing
Empower sales reps to prepare and share shopping carts with B2B buyers in Shopware 6. Buyers complete checkout independently, with or without an account.
The description shows what such a plugin can do. We tailor the scope to your shop after a short needs analysis and usually deliver within a few days.
In short
- Accelerate the B2B sales cycle by removing friction between cart preparation and order placement
- Enable sales reps to assist buyers without requiring those buyers to hold a registered account
- Reduce order entry errors by letting the rep configure the cart and the buyer confirm, rather than re-keying data manually
Why this extension
Without the plugin
In B2B e-commerce, the sales representative plays a central role in the purchasing process. Buyers often rely on their account manager to configure orders, negotiate line items, and guide them through checkout — yet most Shopware 6 stores offer no native way for a registered sales rep to prepare a cart and hand it off to a buyer who then completes the purchase independently.
With the plugin
This plugin bridges that gap. It allows registered sales representatives to build a shopping cart inside Shopware 6, generate a shareable link, and send it directly to the buyer — whether that buyer holds a customer account or is simply a guest. The buyer opens the link, reviews the cart, enters their contact and shipping details, and finalizes the order entirely on their own. No back-and-forth, no manual re-entry, no lost orders.
How it would work
- Sales Rep Builds the Cart
The sales representative logs into the Shopware 6 storefront using their registered account. They add products, configure quantities, and apply any agreed pricing or promotions — exactly as a standard customer would build a cart, but with the intent to hand it off rather than check out themselves.
- Share the Link with the Buyer
Once the cart is ready, the sales rep triggers the share function. The plugin generates a unique, time-limited URL. The rep copies this link and sends it to the buyer via their preferred channel — email, CRM message, WhatsApp, or any other communication tool.
- Buyer Completes Checkout Independently
The buyer opens the link in their browser. The pre-built cart loads automatically. If the buyer is a guest, they proceed directly to checkout and enter their contact, billing, and shipping information. If they already have an account, they can log in and the cart is applied to their session. The buyer places the order entirely on their own terms, without any further involvement from the sales rep.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a ready plugin I can buy?
No – it is a concept. We build it for your shop after a short needs analysis. Prices start at €100 and you get a fixed quote before we start.
Can buyers without a registered account use a shared cart link?
Yes. Guest checkout is fully supported. A buyer who receives the shared link does not need to create an account. They simply open the link, review the cart, enter their contact and delivery details, and place the order.
What happens if a registered buyer already has items in their own cart?
When a registered buyer opens a shared cart link and logs in, the plugin handles the merge according to configurable rules — either replacing the existing cart with the shared one or combining the two. You choose the behavior that suits your workflow.
How is the sales representative identified for order attribution?
Each shared cart link is tied to the sales rep's Shopware 6 account. When the buyer completes the order, the rep's identifier is stored on the order record. This data can be used for internal reporting, CRM synchronization, or commission calculations.
Can shared cart links expire automatically?
Yes. You can configure a validity period for each shared link in the plugin settings. Once the link expires, the buyer is redirected to a customizable message page. This prevents outdated pricing or discontinued products from being ordered through stale links.
Which Shopware versions are supported?
We build it for the version your shop runs: 6.5, 6.6 or 6.7. Updates for new Shopware versions are included as long as we stay in active contact.
How long does it take?
Usually 5–10 business days after the needs analysis, depending on the agreed scope.
