Stock-Based Delivery Time
Show accurate, quantity-aware delivery times in Shopware 6: a longer lead time appears as soon as the ordered quantity exceeds the available stock.
The description shows what such a plugin can do. We tailor the scope to your shop after a short needs analysis and usually deliver within a few days.
In short
- Switches the delivery time on the product page when the chosen quantity is higher than the stock.
- For shops that sell more than they keep in stock and restock to order.
- Fewer complaints after purchase, because the delivery promise is right before checkout.
- Built for your shop: thresholds and texts are agreed in a short needs analysis.
Why this extension
Without the plugin
Shopware’s restock time only applies when stock reaches zero. A customer who orders six units while five are in stock still sees the standard delivery time – and complains after the purchase.
With the plugin
A plugin built for your shop adds quantity thresholds tied to the live stock. When the chosen quantity exceeds the stock, the product page switches to the longer delivery time before the order is placed.
How it would work
- Define the thresholds
In the administration you set quantity thresholds per product or category and a delivery time for each tier – e.g. “2–6 business days” up to the current stock and “3–4 weeks” above it.
- Stock drives the logic
When a customer selects a quantity, the plugin compares it with the live stock and shows the matching delivery time – without reloading the page.
- The storefront updates in real time
As the quantity changes, the delivery time follows, so the information stays accurate during the whole visit.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a ready plugin I can buy?
No – it is a concept. We build it for your shop after a short needs analysis. Prices start at €100 and you get a fixed quote before we start.
Which Shopware versions are supported?
We build it for the version your shop runs: 6.5, 6.6 or 6.7. Updates for new Shopware versions are included as long as we stay in active contact.
Does it replace Shopware’s restock time field?
No. It works alongside the native field: Shopware still handles the zero-stock case, the plugin handles the quantity-based cases.
Can products and categories have different thresholds?
Yes. Thresholds can be set per product and per category; product settings take priority.
How long does it take?
Usually 5–10 business days after the needs analysis, depending on the agreed scope.
